Electric cables, gears, electronic chips and disused computers, printers, cameras, radios and mp3 players are transformed into pendants, necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings. How? This is the innovative challenge of Paola Mirai, designer from Bologna, who created a revolutionary collection of jewels from technological waste.
The collection, born in 2011, is already a great success. The purpose is simple: create jewels that have as gems an electronic component considered "technological junk". It’s possible to visit the blog – Cirkuita - where Paola presents her collection.
