This machine allows to obtain from the starting str ip, by using a special equipment, tubes of differen t diameters, soldered on the edges. The profiling is done by passing the strap between the following pairs of wheels which have a s pecial designed profile. The soldering of the edges is done positioning the soldering nozzle, by a special adjustable arm, in relation to the rollers out of bronze which close the two edges. This pair of roll ers is equipped with a liquid circulation, cooling system. To allow the variation, even micrometric, of the thickness of the strap, ea ch profiling rolling pair is equipped with a simple screw system which allows the regulation by merely rotating an apposite hand-wheel. The bed-plate of electro soldered steel sheet, a llows a maximum accessi- bility to all the members of the machine and contri butes with its structure to a silent running. The m achine as a unit appears com-pact, in relation to its high performances. The tra nsmission of the movement to the profiling roller pairs, is obtained by a "cascade gears" system. All the rotating parts of the machine are realised by sphere or roller bearings, which are pre-lubricated and water- tight, and there is no need of maintenance. The machine motorization is carried out by a geared-motor unit controlled by an electronic variator, which allows to adjust the speed o f the rollers
